Technical SEO
Crawling, indexing, rendering, site speed, Core Web Vitals and structured data, fixed at the template rather than page by page. Better copy cannot help a page crawlers never fetch, so the cheapest wins are often here.
Technical SEO, content, local search and AI search for companies across the United States. SpiderHunts builds software, so our SEO work ends in shipped changes rather than a slide deck: the template fixed, the page rewritten, the schema live, and the before and after in your own Search Console. The work is done remotely by a UK-registered company, with video calls in your working hours.

Quick answer
Search engine optimization services make a website easy to find, easy to understand and worth choosing. That is four jobs: pages search engines can crawl and index, pages that answer what buyers ask, enough outside credibility to be trusted, and a business described clearly enough that ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and Google's AI Overviews can recommend it.
Most proposals sell the middle two jobs and assume the first is fine. It often is not: a forgotten rule excluding pages, a redesign that broke the redirects, or a JavaScript framework that hides content from crawlers.
SpiderHunts Technologies Ltd is a UK-registered company with a registered office in London and a team that works remotely. We have no office, staff or legal entity in the United States. We work over video calls in your working hours, a shared Slack or Teams channel, and access to your own accounts. Because we build software for a living, the same people who find a problem write the fix.
What we do
Eight areas of work. The audit shows which ones are costing you leads.
Crawling, indexing, rendering, site speed, Core Web Vitals and structured data, fixed at the template rather than page by page. Better copy cannot help a page crawlers never fetch, so the cheapest wins are often here.
Google Business Profile, Apple Business Connect, Bing Places, citations and reviews for businesses serving a city, a metro area or several states.
Category structure, faceted navigation and product templates on Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce or a custom build.
A tighter scope for owner-run businesses: the few fixes and pages most likely to bring in calls, done first.
Pages structured so an assistant or AI Overview can lift the answer directly: the question asked the way people ask it, answered early, with structured data to confirm it.
One consistent description of your business across your site, schema, directory profiles and press, so AI models have no competing versions to choose between.
Pages written for searches people actually make, matched to what the searcher wants and linked so authority reaches them. Thin pages get merged or retired.
Redirect maps built from the full list of old URLs and checked after launch, so a new site keeps the rankings the old one earned.
Working remotely
SEO happens in your accounts and on your website, so it runs well across an ocean if the arrangements are clear.
Everything we need is online: Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics 4, your Google Business Profile, your CMS and, where templates change, your code repository. You grant named access you can remove at any time, and the history stays in your accounts if the engagement ends.
Calls are booked in your working hours, whether your team is on Eastern, Central, Mountain or Pacific time. Day-to-day questions go through a shared Slack or Teams channel, and every change that touches a live page is approved by you first.
If you have been searching for SEO services near me, it helps to know what location actually changes. Where your agency sits makes no difference to your rankings. Where your business and your customers are makes a great deal of difference, because Google ranks map results by the searcher's location and the business address or service area on your profile. We work on your location signals, from wherever your customers are.
The US market
The principles are the same everywhere. The competition, the directories and the languages are not.
Broad national US searches are often held by marketplaces, publishers and directories with years of links behind them. A realistic plan usually starts with narrower searches where intent is clear, such as the service plus the problem, which are easier to win and closer to a purchase.
Local search in the US runs on more than Google. Apple Maps is the default on iPhones and draws on Apple Business Connect, and many buyers check Yelp, the Better Business Bureau or a vertical directory before they call: Avvo for lawyers, Healthgrades for doctors, Angi for home services. Consistent listings on the ones that matter in your sector are part of the work.
Many US businesses also serve Spanish-speaking customers. Where the demand exists, Spanish pages need their own URLs, es-US and en-US hreflang tags pointing both ways, and keyword research done in Spanish, with a native speaker writing or reviewing the copy.
Choosing well
A few questions separate the providers that change your site from those that only send a report.
Ask who implements the fixes. A proposal described as an SEO optimization service can mean anything from installing a plugin to a year of technical and content work, so ask for the scope in writing and ask who changes the website once the audit is done. If the answer is your own developers, check that they have the time.
Ask whose accounts the data lives in. Search Console and analytics should be yours, so the history stays if you change provider. And ask whether reporting reaches leads or stops at traffic.
Be wary of promises of a specific position by a date, links bought in bulk, hundreds of near-identical city pages generated in a week, and long contracts with no way out. Our guide to choosing an SEO company in the USA sets out the questions in more detail, and they apply to us as much as anyone.
The gap
The product is good and the site looks fine, but the leads go to competitors.
Fix the site, the content or the links first?
The free audit answers that before any retainer comes up. We line up the pages you publish against the pages Google keeps, look at the searches you already appear for, and put your buyers' questions to AI assistants to see who they name. Then we tell you which of the three is the real limit.
Examples
Illustrative examples of common problems and the work that addresses them. They are not named client projects or results.
For example, a personal injury firm in Texas might rank for its name only, because its practice pages describe the firm rather than what injured people ask. The work is search research, then pages that answer those questions, with the firm's attorneys checking each page against their state bar's advertising rules before it goes live.
Aim: being found for the case type, not only the firm name
An independent insurance agency in Georgia might find that broad searches such as business insurance are held by carriers and national comparison sites. The realistic route is narrower searches with clear intent, such as cover for a particular trade, answered on pages that explain what the policy covers and who it suits.
Aim: winning the specific searches the big sites cover thinly
A software company in Austin might find ChatGPT lists its competitors instead. Often the site renders in the browser, so assistants receive an almost empty page, and the company is described differently on every profile.
Aim: being a source assistants can read and cite
An industrial supplier in Ohio might relaunch and lose its spec-sheet traffic because old URLs were never redirected. We rebuild the redirect map from the full URL history.
Aim: the old pages' value carried across
How we work
Four stages, repeated each month on a monthly program. You approve every change before it reaches your live site.
Crawl, index, rendering, rankings, profiles and AI answers checked against each other, with the findings in writing.
We estimate the value and the effort of each finding, agree with you which searches, services and places matter most, and list what we would leave alone.
We make the changes in your CMS or codebase: templates, redirects, schema, internal links, profiles and copy.
A short monthly note from your own Search Console and analytics, leads where they can be tracked, and a fixed set of AI prompts rechecked. If something did not work, we say so.
Clear scope · Regular demos · Full handover
Honest fit
Organic search builds over months, so for some businesses it is the wrong place to start. If that is you, we will say so on the first call.
Ways to engage
You can stop after the free audit. If you go further, the work takes one of two forms.
| Free audit | One-off project | Monthly program | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What it is | A written review of your site, search data and AI answers | A fixed scope, such as a migration or a technical cleanup, delivered and checked | Fixes, new pages and AI search work, month after month |
| Changes made by | No one; you decide what happens next | SpiderHunts, after you approve each change | SpiderHunts, through your normal release process |
| AI search | We test how assistants answer your buyers' questions | Structured data and answer-first pages where the scope includes them | Ongoing work on how your business is described and cited |
| How you see progress | The written findings | A before and after comparison in your Search Console | A monthly note drawn from your own Search Console and analytics |
| Price | Free | Written quote after a free call | Get Found in AI Search retainer from £1,500 a month; a wider scope is quoted in writing |
| Suits you if | You are not sure what is holding the site back | You know the problem and want it fixed once | Organic and AI search are a main source of leads |
Sectors
US sectors where buyers start with a search and sites tend to be large or template driven, so one structural fix repeats across many pages.
FAQ
What owners and marketing leads in the US ask before they commission SEO. If yours is missing, ask it in the form.
Still have a question?
Ask us directly. A senior engineer reads every question.
Ask about your projectNo. SpiderHunts Technologies Ltd is registered in the United Kingdom, with a registered office at 182-184 High Street N, London E6 2JA, and the whole team works remotely. We have no US office, entity or sales team, and we say so on the first call in case you need a US-domiciled supplier.
Most SEO firms charge a monthly retainer, and some sell one-off audits or projects. Our Get Found in AI Search retainer, which covers technical SEO, AEO and GEO, starts from £1,500 a month and begins with a free audit. One-off technical, local or migration work is priced in a written quote after a free call, with the scope and exclusions agreed before anything starts.
Fixes that unblock crawling or indexing tend to register first, since Google only has to recrawl the affected pages. Ranking for competitive commercial searches usually takes months, and how many depends on your competitors and where the site starts. We cannot give you a date, but after the audit we tell you which changes we expect to register first and which are longer bets.
No, and nobody honestly can. Google and the AI assistants decide what they show, and competitors and algorithm changes are outside any provider's control. What we offer is a clear account of what we are doing and why, careful implementation, and honest reporting of what changed, including what did not work.
Work is quoted in pounds sterling and invoiced in US dollars at the rate set in the quote, so the dollar figure is known before work starts. We can complete a W-8BEN-E for your accounts payable team and accept ACH, wire or card. Your legal team can work from your own services agreement.
Yes, as part of the same work. Assistants tend to cite pages they can fetch easily, that state facts plainly and that describe the business the same way as its other profiles, so the technical and content work behind organic rankings serves AI search too. Our AEO agency page covers the answer engine side in more detail.
Yes. We can make the changes ourselves or write tickets your developers can pick up without a meeting. Either way we check each change after it ships, because a fix that goes live slightly differently from the brief can create new problems.
Yes. It is mostly structure: one accurate Google Business Profile per real location, a location page with something specific to say about each, and consistent listings. We will not set up profiles at addresses you do not operate from, because that breaks Google's guidelines and can get a profile suspended.
We draft the pages and you approve them before they go live. We use AI tools for research and first drafts, and a person decides what is published. We do not mass-produce pages to chase every keyword variation.
We crawl the site and set the result against Google's index, list the searches you already appear for, check how key templates render without JavaScript, review your structured data and, for local businesses, your Google Business Profile. Then we ask AI assistants the questions your buyers ask and note who they name. The findings come in writing, most valuable first, and there is no obligation to buy anything.
