How the teardown works
- You send your website address and email. Tell us what the site should do for you if you can.
- We look at the site as a visitor would, on a phone and on a desktop. We do not need logins or access to your hosting.
- We record a short screen-share video naming three specific fixes and why each one matters.
- We email you the link. If you want help making the changes, ask for a written quote with scope and exclusions agreed up front. There is no obligation.
If the site is not live yet, or the pages you care about sit behind a login, say so in the message and we will tell you what we can look at. We work remotely, by video call and email. Is the teardown really free?
Yes. There is no charge and no obligation to buy anything. It is how we introduce ourselves: if the fixes are useful, you may think of us when you next need work done on the site.
What do you need from me?
Your website address, your name, an email address and a phone number. A line on what the site should do for you, such as bring in enquiries, sell online or take bookings, helps us choose the right three fixes. We do not need logins or access to your hosting.
How will I get the video?
We email you a link to the recording. You can watch it when it suits you and share it with your team or whoever looks after your site.
Does it matter what the site is built on?
No. We look at the site as your visitors see it, so it works for WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow or a custom build. Some fixes depend on the platform, and we say so when they do.
Will you make the fixes for us?
Only if you ask. You can make them yourself or pass them to whoever looks after your site. If you would like us to do it, we send a written quote with scope and exclusions agreed up front.
Is this the same as the AI visibility audit?
No. The teardown looks at your site from a visitor's point of view. The AI visibility audit looks at whether AI assistants such as ChatGPT mention and recommend your business when buyers ask them.
