Quick answer

What does an AI SEO agency in Dubai actually do?

Its job is to help the people searching for what you sell find you, wherever they search. In Dubai that now means three places at once: the normal Google results, the Google Maps pack for searches with a place in them, and the answers that AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google’s AI Overviews give when someone asks for a recommendation. The work underneath all three is the same: a site that search engines and AI crawlers can reach and understand, content that answers real questions, and a business that is described consistently everywhere it appears.

The UAE adds a few things to plan for. Buyers search in English and in Arabic, often using different words for the same thing, and place names are spelled several ways in English. Areas such as Business Bay, Dubai Marina, JLT and Deira behave like separate local markets in Google Maps. And service pages that only swap one area name for another rarely rank well, so the sites that stand out are the ones that answer a question properly rather than repeating a city name.

We work with UAE clients remotely, from a registered office in London, over video calls scheduled in your working hours. We have no office or staff in Dubai. If you are choosing an AI SEO company in Dubai, the useful question for any of them, us included, is who implements the fixes once the audit is done. We are a software company first, so the answer here is that we do.

What we do

What our SEO work for Dubai businesses covers

Eight areas. The audit shows which of them are costing you enquiries, and the work is prioritised by value rather than by the length of a checklist.

01

Local SEO and Google Maps

Google Business Profile set up and maintained for each real location, categories and services chosen properly, reviews answered, and consistent listings on Apple Maps, Bing Places and the directories that matter in your sector.

02

Technical SEO

Crawling, indexing, rendering, site speed and Core Web Vitals, fixed at the cause. If you already work with technical SEO consultants in Dubai, we can take on the implementation they recommend: template changes, redirects and rendering fixes.

03

AI search: AEO and GEO

Making your business easy for ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Overviews to find, understand and cite: clear answers on the page, consistent facts about the company, and AI crawlers allowed to reach what matters.

04

Content that answers questions

Pages and guides built around what your buyers actually ask, in the words they use, with prices, process and proof stated plainly. Fewer, better pages rather than one thin page per area name.

05

English and Arabic structure

Separate URLs for each language, hreflang annotations that point both ways, right-to-left templates that render properly, and keyword research done in each language rather than translated.

06

Structured data

Organisation, LocalBusiness, Service and FAQ schema that validates and matches the page it sits on, generated from the page content so it stays in step with the page as it changes.

07

Keyword and competitor research

What people in the UAE really type, in English and Arabic, which competitors rank for it and why, and which searches are worth a page of their own.

08

Reporting you can check

Search Console, analytics and enquiry data reported together, plus a fixed set of AI assistant prompts checked over time, so you can see what changed and whether it brought enquiries.

AI search

AI SEO services in the UAE

Being recommended by an AI assistant depends on the same foundations as ranking in Google, plus a few things Google never needed.

When someone in Dubai asks ChatGPT or Gemini for a clinic, a property consultant or a software supplier, the assistant builds its answer from pages it can fetch and from what other sources say about each business. AI SEO is the work of making your business one of the sources it can use: pages that answer the question directly, facts about the company that agree across your site, profiles and directories, and structured data that names what you do and where you serve.

It also has a technical side that is easy to miss. AI crawlers generally do not run JavaScript, so a site that renders its content in the browser can be indexed by Google and still look empty to an assistant. We check what GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot and Googlebot each receive, and fix the gap at the template rather than page by page.

Generative engine optimization (GEO) services in Dubai go by other names too, including AEO, AI SEO and LLM SEO. The labels matter less than the work, and whatever it is called, it sits on top of normal SEO rather than replacing it. Whether you are looking for an AI search optimization agency in the UAE or a traditional SEO firm, ask to see how they will check AI visibility over time, not only rankings.

Automation

AI-powered SEO automation for UAE businesses

Automation is useful for the repetitive checking around SEO. It is not a substitute for judgement about what to publish.

Because we build software, we can automate the parts of SEO that are tedious and easy to forget. For example, a crawl after every release that flags new broken links, missing titles or pages blocked by mistake; indexing status pulled from Search Console each week; structured data generated from the page content; internal link suggestions when a new page goes live; and a fixed set of AI assistant prompts checked on a schedule to see whether your business is mentioned.

What we do not recommend automating is publishing. If you are comparing AI-powered SEO agencies in the UAE, be careful with offers to generate hundreds of pages at once, one per service and area. Pages like that tend to be near-duplicates, and Google’s spam policies specifically cover content produced at scale mainly to rank, so they can do more harm than good. We use AI to speed up research and first drafts, and a person decides what goes live.

Languages

English and Arabic search: what to plan for

Most UAE sites need both languages. Getting the structure right first is cheaper than fixing it after translation.

Decide early whether Arabic needs its own pages and which ones. Plenty of UAE buyers search in English, and some sectors see far more Arabic searching than others, so check the demand for your own services before translating the whole site. Where Arabic pages are justified, they need their own URLs, hreflang annotations for ar-AE and en-AE that point both ways, and templates that genuinely work right to left.

Arabic keyword research has to be done in Arabic. Searchers mix Modern Standard Arabic, Gulf dialect terms and Arabic written in Latin letters, and a literal translation of an English keyword is often a phrase nobody types. We handle the structure, the technical setup and the keyword data. A native speaker, on your side or a writer you choose, should check the Arabic terms and write or review the Arabic copy, so it reads naturally to your customers.

Why it matters

Why good Dubai businesses stay invisible in search

The site looks fine and the service is good. The enquiries go to competitors because search engines and assistants cannot see what you offer.

What we usually find

  • A Google Business Profile with the wrong category, few photos and no reviews answered
  • Arabic pages that are a copy of the English ones, with no hreflang linking the two
  • Service pages that differ only by the area name, so none of them ranks
  • Content that only appears after JavaScript runs, so AI crawlers see an empty page
  • The business name and phone number written differently on every directory

What we change

  • A complete, accurate profile for each real location you operate from
  • English and Arabic pages linked properly, each written for how people actually search
  • Fewer, stronger pages that answer the questions buyers ask
  • Content present in the HTML that search and AI crawlers are served
  • One consistent description of the business everywhere it appears

Not sure why competitors show up and you do not?

That is what the free audit settles. We check what is indexed, how you appear in Google Maps and whether AI assistants mention you, then tell you plainly whether the gap is technical, content, local or authority.

Examples

What Dubai and UAE businesses ask us to fix

Typical situations businesses in the UAE bring to us, and the work that addresses them. Illustrative examples, not client results.

Clinics

Missing from the Maps pack in their own area

For example, a clinic in Jumeirah might rank for its own name but never appear when someone nearby searches for the treatment. The fix is usually the profile categories and services, review handling, and a page on the site that clearly matches the profile.

Aim: showing up for the treatment, not only the clinic name

Real estate

Thousands of listing pages, few indexed

A brokerage site where listings expire, filters create endless URLs and most pages sit at crawled but not indexed. The work is crawl control, canonical rules for expired listings and stronger area guides that link to what is live.

Aim: crawl spent on pages that can bring enquiries

B2B and free zone firms

Invisible to AI assistants

A software or services company in a free zone whose site renders in the browser, so assistants receive an almost empty page. Server-rendering the key content and stating the facts plainly makes it something an assistant can quote.

Aim: being a source assistants can cite

Ecommerce

Arabic store pages that never rank

An online store where the Arabic product pages are machine-translated copies with no hreflang. The work is structure first, then Arabic keyword research and copy written for how shoppers search.

Aim: each language ranking for its own searches

Hospitality

Reliant on booking platforms

A restaurant or hotel group that appears on booking and review platforms but rarely on its own site. Local profiles, menu and room pages with clear facts, and structured data help search engines send people straight to the business.

Aim: more direct enquiries from search

Professional services

A rebrand that lost the old rankings

A consultancy that moved to a new domain without mapping the old URLs. We rebuild the redirect map page by page from the old URL list and verify after launch rather than assuming.

Aim: the old pages’ value carried across

How we work

How SEO with a UAE client runs

Short stages, with the findings in writing before anything is changed.

  1. 1. Free audit

We crawl the site, compare it with what Google has indexed, review your Google Business Profile and check how AI assistants answer the questions your buyers ask. You get the findings in writing.

  2. 2. Prioritise

Each finding gets a view of what fixing it is worth and what it costs. We agree which searches, areas and languages matter most, and what we will leave alone.

  3. 3. Fix and build

We make the changes: technical fixes, structure, schema, profiles and content. You approve before anything goes live, and the changes arrive in a form your team can review.

  4. 4. Measure and repeat

Search Console, analytics, enquiries and AI assistant answers checked each month, with a short written note on what changed, what did not, and what comes next.

Honest fit

When we are the right SEO partner for a UAE business

Some UAE businesses are better served by someone else, and we will say so on the first call. If you are comparing the top SEO companies in the UAE, our guide to choosing an SEO company sets out the questions worth asking each of them.

A good fit when…

  • You want the fixes done, not just a report
  • Your site is technical, large, bilingual or built on a modern framework
  • You want to be found in AI assistants as well as Google
  • You are happy to work remotely, by video call
  • You want plain reporting tied to enquiries, not vanity metrics

Not the right fit when…

  • You need an agency with a Dubai office you can visit
  • You want Arabic copywriting done entirely in-house by the agency
  • You want a fixed ranking position promised in a contract
  • You want hundreds of area pages generated in a week

FAQ

SEO for Dubai and UAE businesses: FAQs

What business owners and marketing leads in the UAE ask before they start.

Still have a question?

Ask us directly. A senior engineer reads every question.

Ask about your project

Do you have an office or staff in Dubai?

No. SpiderHunts Technologies Ltd is registered in London and the whole team works remotely. We have no office, staff or partner in the UAE. Projects run over video calls scheduled in your working hours, shared documents and your own Search Console, analytics and Google Business Profile access.

Can we appear in Google Maps in Dubai without premises there?

Google Business Profile is for businesses that serve customers in person, at an address they operate from or within a genuine service area. If you have premises or serve customers across Dubai, we can set up and improve the profile properly. We will not create a profile on an address you do not operate from, because it breaks Google’s rules and the profile can be suspended.

Do you do Arabic SEO?

We handle the parts of Arabic SEO that are structural and technical: separate Arabic URLs, hreflang between the languages, right-to-left templates, schema and Arabic keyword data. The Arabic terms and copy are checked and written with you or a native writer you choose. We would rather say that plainly than claim an in-house Arabic team.

What is the difference between SEO, AEO and GEO?

SEO is about ranking in search results. AEO, answer engine optimisation, is about being the clear answer that featured snippets and voice assistants pick. GEO, generative engine optimisation, is about being cited by AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Gemini. They overlap heavily, and all three depend on a site that can be crawled and content that answers questions directly.

How long does SEO take to work in Dubai?

Technical fixes can show up as soon as search engines recrawl the affected pages, often within a few weeks. Ranking for competitive Dubai searches typically takes months, and depends on the competition, the state of the site and how much content and authority it needs. We tell you after the audit which changes are likely to show first.

Can you promise a first-page ranking?

No. Google and the AI assistants decide what they show, and nobody can sell you a position. What we can do is remove what is holding your site back, publish content that deserves to rank, and report honestly on what changed. Be wary of any SEO company in the UAE that promises a specific position.

How much does SEO cost?

Our Get Found in AI Search retainer, which covers GEO, AEO and technical SEO, starts from £1,500 a month, excluding VAT, and begins with the free AI Visibility Audit. One-off technical or local SEO projects are scoped after the audit and quoted in writing, with the scope agreed up front. We quote in pounds sterling or US dollars and can invoice in AED.

Do you work with businesses outside Dubai?

Yes. Because the work is remote, it runs the same way for businesses in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. For local SEO what matters is where your customers are and where you serve them, so we plan pages and profiles around that rather than around a list of emirates.

Will you write our content?

Yes, for English content: service pages, guides and answers to the questions your buyers ask, drafted by us and approved by you before publishing. For Arabic, we prepare the structure and research and work with you or your chosen writer on the copy. We do not publish anything without your sign-off.

Who do we contract with?

SpiderHunts Technologies Ltd, registered at Companies House under number 16718403, with a registered office at 182-184 High Street N, Office 14607, London E6 2JA. English law applies unless we agree otherwise. How VAT applies to services bought from a supplier outside the UAE is a question for your tax adviser.
