Working from home under a host agency gives you the supplier agreements, the protection and the back office without running a full agency. In return, every booking has to be recorded in the host's system: client, passengers, supplier, reference, price, payments, and whatever else the host needs for commission and compliance.
But the host's system is not where you run your business. Your client relationships live in your phone, a notebook, a spreadsheet of past clients, an email folder per family, and perhaps a social media inbox. So you record each booking in your own spreadsheet for follow-ups and anniversaries, and again in the host's system, and sometimes a third time in the supplier's own site. Every amendment repeats the exercise.

And some agents simply stop keeping their own records, which means losing the follow-ups and repeat business that make homeworking work.

- Where the host provides an API or import, details are sent directly. Where it does not, you get a copy-ready summary that makes entry quick and accurate.

A homeworking week with less typing
You spend your day in one place, and the host's system becomes a step at the end of a booking rather than a parallel life. Your client records stay complete, so birthday messages, anniversary offers and last year's holiday reminders actually happen. Commission queries are easier, because your records and the host's match.
If you ever move host agency, your client relationships are in your own workspace, subject to what your host agreement says about client data. That is worth checking with your host and adviser before you need it.
Take a typical enquiry. A past client messages about a summer holiday. You open their record and see last year's trip, their preference for a sea view and a child who is now old enough for the kids' club. The quote is built in your workspace. When they book, the host entry takes a few minutes from the prepared summary, and the host reference goes back on the booking.
