Where manufacturers differ from each other

Two manufacturers of similar size in adjacent sectors schedule production completely differently, because their constraints differ: a bottleneck machine, a curing time, an operator certification, a tooling changeover cost.

That is why generic scheduling modules disappoint. They model a factory in general, and your factory has three specific rules that decide everything.

Scheduling, the part worth building

Regulated sectors require batch and lot traceability; increasingly customers require it regardless. Retrofitting it is much harder than designing it in.

Do we need a full MES?

Below a certain size, no. A scheduling and capture layer over your existing stock system gives most of the benefit at a fraction of the cost.

Can you connect to our machines?

Where they expose data, yes — many modern machines do, and older ones sometimes via sensors. We scope this carefully because it varies enormously.

How long does a manufacturing project take?

Twelve to twenty-four weeks for scheduling and capture, phased so the first useful piece lands inside three months.

What is the fastest win?
